Aggrieved by the action on the part of Respondents in rejecting the claim of Petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment, the present Writ Petition has been filed by Petitioner.

The rejection of the claim of Petitioner for compassionate appointment was vide Order dated 22.5.2021 (Annexure P-4) on the ground of the Petitioner not being the legal heir of the deceased and on verification she was found to be the sister of the deceased.

During the course of hearing, it has also been revealed by the learned Government Advocate that despite the fact that the Petitioner being the sister of the deceased she is also a married lady, which has not been disputed by the learned Counsel for Petitioner.

Given the facts, this Court is of the opinion that no strong case has been made out by the Petitioner calling for an interference with the impugned Order of rejection of the claim of Petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment. 5.

Writ Petition thus being devoid of merits the same deserves to be and is accordingly dismissed.
