The limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment. The claim of the petitioner is on the basis of death of his father who was working as Pump Helper under the respondent No.3 and who died in harness on 19.03.2019. According to the petitioner, his application till date has not been rejected nor has it been decided by the respondents finally. Given the said submission, the writ petition for the limited relief stands disposed of directing the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
