1. Heard.
2. The applicants have preferred the first bail application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C., as they are arrested in connection with Crime No.96/2021, registered at Police Station - Bodhghat, District- Bastar (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Section 18 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
3. The applicants were found in joint illicit possession of 250 grams of Opium during search on 31-03-2021.

4. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.
5. Small quantity for opium is 25 grams and commercial quantity is 2.5 k.g., therefore, considering that these applicants are in jail since 31-03-2021 i.e. for more than four months; the charge sheet has already been filed, I am inclined to release them on bail.
6. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- with two local surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
