1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that the petitioner is entitled for monetary compensation on the death of her husband but till date the application has not been finalized by the authorities.

2. Given the limited nature of the dispute that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ

petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for grant of monetary compensation on the death of her husband who died in harness serving the respondent on 05/10/2003.

3. Let respondent No. 2 & 3 take a decision at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
