1. The challenge in the present writ petition was to the order of transfer dated 14.08.2017 transferring the petitioner from Gharghoda, District Raigarh to Narayanpur, District Narayanpur.
2. By virtue of an interim order of this Court dated 26.09.2017, the petitioner continues to work at Gharghoda.
3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner by now has got only around 6 months of service left and at this fag end of his career, he may not be disturbed any further.
4. Considering the interim order, which was in operation in favour of the petitioner and also considering the fact that the petitioner is to retire in around less than one year's time period, the ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the respondents shall not act upon the impugned order, so far as the petitioner is concerned, any further. However, the right of the respondents stands
reserved for passing a fresh order of transfer in case if administrative exigency, so demands.
5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
