Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has made an application for renewal of lease which is pending consideration before the respondent No. 4 - Nazul Officer, Bilaspur since 2006-07 and the next date for hearing in the case is fixed on 07.05.2018 and meanwhile, Municipal Corporation, Bilaspur has issued notice dated 20.03.2018 to the petitioner for removal of encroachment. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 4 - Nazul Officer, Bilaspur is directed to take decision on the petitioner's said application expeditiously

preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Till then, the petitioner shall not be removed from the property in question.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
