Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioners were eligible to be considered for promotion on the post of Assistant Grade III, but in the promotions recently held they have not been promoted to the said post, which is arbitrary. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioners may be allowed to make a detailed representation with regard to the same to the Collector, Janjgir-Champa.

Be that as it may, the petitioners are at liberty to make a detailed representation to the Collector, Janjgir-Champa and in turn the Collector shall consider the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law expeditiously. It is made clear that this Court has not made any order with regard to promotion of the petitioners.

With the aforesaid observation and directions, the writ petitions are disposed of.

No order as to costs.
