1. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents in not taking a decision on the claim for compassionate appointment.
2. The petitioner is claiming compassionate appointment on the death of her father namely Lt. Shri Rajendra Prasad Choudhary who died in harness on the post of Assistant Grade-II under the respondents on 22.07.2013. The petitioner who has moved an application upon attaining the age of majority, her application till date is pending
consideration before the respondents.
3. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondents to take an appropriate decision on the application for compassionate appointment in accordance with the rules, regulations and policy governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. Sd/-
