1. The petitioner has sought relief that respondent No.2 be directed to investigate into the missing report dated 12.10.2015 (Annexure-P4) about the son of the petitioner who was missing since 07.10.2015.

2. Learned State counsel has filed return in which he has stated the steps taken by them.

3. It seems that the grievance of the petitioner has been resolved, therefore, the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the petition.

4. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner even when the matter is called twice.

5. This Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the case for want of prosecution.
