1. The applicant has preferred this bail application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail as he is arrested in connection with crime No.115/2020 registered in Police Station Shivrinarayan, District Janjgir-Champa C.G. for the offence punishable under Section 306, 498A read with Section 34 of the I.P.C.
2. Applicant was married with deceased Seema Sahu on 25.5.2012. It is alleged that accused persons were demanding money and treating the deceased with cruelty,
MCRC No. 4275 of 2021 therefore, being frustrated she committed suicide by setting herself ablaze on 08.1.2020. It is also alleged that applicant's father Firatram Sahu was contesting Panchayat election and to meet expenses of said election he was demanding funds from the deceased.
3. Co-accused Firatram Sahu has already been released on bail in MCRC No.797/2021; present applicant is in jail since 14.12.2020 i.e., for about 9 months; charge sheet has already been file and trial may take sometime, therefore, considering all relevant aspect of the matter, I am inclined to release him on bail.
4. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
