The challenge in the present writ petition is to the Annexure P-1 dated 31/05/2017 whereby the respondents have cancelled the earlier order of transfer dated 4/9/2013. The petitioner had immediately challenged the impugned order and has obtained interim protection on 13/07/2017, by virtue of which the petitioner continues to work at his original place of posting till date. 2.

In view of the same, the impugned order has lost is efficacy. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed off with direction to the respondents not to act upon the impugned order any further so far as the petitioner is concerned, However, the right of the respondents stands reserved to pass a fresh order of transfer in case administrative exigency so arises.
