1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that though the petitioner has been initially appointed in the year 1987 on the post of Patwari even today he remains on the said post.
2. According to the petitioner there are some Patwaris who were appointed subsequent to the petitioner who have all been promoted to the post of Assistant Superintendent (Land Records). According to the petitioner there is no punishment which has been inflicted upon the petitioner by which the promotion could have been withheld nor is the petitioner facing any departmental enquiry.
3. Given the facts, let the petitioner move an appropriate application before respondent No. 2 raising all his grievances supported with all relevant documents, respondent No. 2 in turn shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner taking into consideration the seniority of the petitioner and his eligibility for next promotional post at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
