For Non-Applicant : Mr. Vikram Sharma, Deputy GA. Proceeding Through Video Conferencing Hon'ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Order On Board 17/09/2020 :

1. The applicants have preferred this application for grant of bail as they are arrested in connection with Crime No.277/2020 registered in Police Station Jamul, District Durg for offence under Section 380 & 457 of the IPC.

2. The applicants have committed theft of 14 ceiling fans from the Primary School at Kurud, PS Jamul, District Durg.

3. Learned State Counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail, however, he would submit that the concerned SHO has not reported any previous antecedents of the applicants.

4. Considering the fact that the applicants are in jail since 21.6.2020 and the offences are triable by the JMFC, this Court is inclined to release the applicants on bail.

5. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
