1. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition as of now may be disposed of directing the respondents to decide the representation which the petitioner has made seeking for considering the enhancement of the age of retirement from 62 to 65 as has been done in the case of many other categories of employees by the respondents.

2. To this limited relief learned state counsel does not oppose except that the decision would be purely in accordance with the rules & regulations and the policies governing the field.

3. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of directing the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner purely in accordance with the rules & regulations and the policies governing the filed, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, particularly keeping in view the age of retirement of the petitioner which has been notified in January, 2022.
