Though, learned State counsel prays for time to file reply, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the instant petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's claim for In-charge posting of Chief Municipal Officer as per government circular dated 04-08-2011.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the petitioner's representation within a period of four weeks, in accordance with law and orders passed by this Court earlier in other cases, subject to verification of facts being similarly situated.
