The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that, though he has retired from services on 30/06/2006 from the post of 'Agriculture Development Officer' and in spite of more than 12 years having been passed, the petitioner has not been paid his G.P.F. amount which was in his G.P.F. account.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that, in spite of repeated representations being made by the petitioner, the respondents do not seem

to have taken any decision so far as the entitlement of the petitioner is concerned.

According to the counsel for the petitioner, as per the details available with the petitioner, there is an amount of more than 70,000/- lying in the G.P.F. account of the petitioner.

In the given facts, this Court does not intend to keep the Writ Petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is dispose off with a direction to the respondents No. 1 & 2 to personally look into the matter and ensure that the payment of G.P.F. amount payable to the petitioner if any is paid at the earliest.

Needless to mention that, in case if the petitioner is not entitled for any payment, he should be intimated suitably in this regard. 6.

Let this exercise be done within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
