Learned counsel for respondents have filed reply, along with which, copy of order dated 31-10-2017 has been annexed which shows that the petitioner's claim has been rejected.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have decided the matter after great delay.

This Court find that after direction was issued, the respondents have sought extension of time. Moreover, it appears that the respondents are indulging in communication with the University Grant Commission and other institutions on dated 25-07-2017 and thereafter, vide order dated 31-10-2017 passed by the State Government, representation of the petitioner has been rejected. 4.

Considering the aforesaid submission, I am inclined to condone the delay in

taking the decision by the respondents. Therefore, rule is discharged. 5.

In the result, the petition is closed. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to assail the legality and validity of order dated 31-10-2017 (Annexure R/2) on such grounds as may be available to him under the law. SD/- (Manindra Mohan Shrivastava) Judge Tumane
