2.
The moment permanent alimony was granted under Section 25 of the Hindu Marriage Act (hereinafter referred to as 'the Act'), the maintenance granted pendente lite under Section 24 of the Act automatically came to an end. The Trial Court has recorded a finding of fact that maintenance pendente lite was paid till 12.11.2014 before disposal of the suit on 14.11.2014. It goes without saying that on grant of permanent alimony pursuant to divorce, the payment of maintenance pendente lite automatically comes to an end. We find no merit in the appeal.
3.
Delay of 22 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The appeal is dismissed.
