ORDER

05.08.2020 Heard.

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was initially appointed in the year 1986 as Time Keeper and thereafter in the year 1988 he was treated as Work Charged employee and in 1996 he was posted as Steno Typist. Subsequently, in the year 2008 the petitioner has been given the time bound pay scale, however, the similarly placed colleagues have been promoted in the month of June, 2020 and it appears that the case of the petitioner has been left out for consideration for promotion by inadvertence. Therefore, the petitioner prays that only he may be given liberty to make a representation to the respondents to consider his promotion, which may be decided within a specified time.

2. Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without any observation on merit, at this stage, the petitioner is given liberty to make a

representation within a period of 3 weeks to the respondent No.1 & 2 ventilating his grievance and the petitioner shall be at liberty to attach all the other necessary documents which are relevant to lament the fact that the similarly placed employees have been promoted. If such representation is filed, the same shall be decided within a further period of 4 weeks.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (Goutam Bhaduri) Judge Ashok
