Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's initial name was written as ANIL in the 10th mark-sheet, however, subsequently in the 12th marksheet (Annexure P-1) his name is known as ANIL NETAM. Therefore, that may be corrected in terms of the circular of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education dated 08.06.2012 wherein 20 years limitation has been prescribed for correction of such type of error.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the circular dated 08.06.2012 only speaks about the correction of the spelling mistake. 3.

Be that as it may, the petitioner may file an application before the respondent Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education within a period of 4 weeks and if such application is filed, the same may be decided in accordance with the circular dated 08.06.2012. This Court has not made any observation as to the applicability of the circular dated 08.06.2012 while deciding the application of the petitioner.
