Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner had filed an application for the settlement of land bearing Khasra No. 84/1 admeasuring 4750 square feet as per the policy of the State dated 11th September 2019 (Annexure P/3). He submits that in the earlier round of litigation, in WPC No. 1339/2021 on 04.03.2021, it was directed by this Court that the possession of the petitioner in respect of the said land may be verified. He further submits that the said verification has already been carried out and the case of the petitioner is still not being considered. 2.

Learned State counsel submits that the case of the petitioner would be considered according to the policy of the State dated 11th September 2019 (Annexure P/3). 3.

Since the State is require to consider the claim of the petitioner, therefore it is directed that the State shall consider the claim of the petitioner as early as possible from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
