Shri KR Nair, Advocate Hon'ble Shri Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Order On Board 22/09/2015
1. Petitioner is seeking issuance of appropriate direction to the respondents for compliance of the terms of the corrigendum dated 13.02.2015 and provide priority to the experienced candidates for the post of meter reader and to reinstate him on the post of meter reader and regularize his services.
2. It appears, the petitioner was never appointed by any competent authority of the respondents on the post of meter reader. The petitioner was engaged as a contractor for carrying out the work of L.T. Meter reading and bill distribution, as is mentioned in the documents filed collectively as Annexure
P-2.
3. Such being the nature of work awarded to the petitioner, no service dispute is arising between the petitioner and the respondents, therefore, claim for regularization is not maintainable.
4. If the petitioner has any grievance in respect of the contract awarded to him for the work of L.T. Meter reading and bill distribution, he may workout his prayer by preferring a duly constituted writ petition, in accordance with the Chhattisgarh High Court Rules, 2007.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed with the above observation. Sd/- Judge Prashant Kumar Mishra ashu
