The sole ground challenged to the transfer order is that even though petitioner has not made any application for transfer on his own request but by the impugned order, he has been transferred showing to be on his own request. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it is either because of factual mistake or an act of mischief. The allegation made in the petition are serious in nature.

The State, through a responsible officer, shall get inquiry made in the matter. Depending upon inquiry, appropriate order shall be passed in the matter within a period of four weeks.

It is found that the petitioner has not filed any representation before the competent authority but rushed to file this petition. 5.

Considering the circumstances, it is directed that if the petitioner prefers a representation within a period of ten days from today, his representation should be considered and decided by the competent authority within a period of four weeks from the date of filing of the representation. 6.

For a period of five weeks, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
