Mr. S. P. Kale, Dy. A. G. appears to inform the Court compliance of the order passed by this Court. Upon instruction, he submits that he has received instruction from Police Headquarter that the petitioners claim for grant of promotion was decided on 23-05-2017. The writ petition filed by the petitioner was disposed off by this Court on 19-06-2017, on petitioners representation regarding pending case, the petition was disposed off with a direction on the said representation. It, however, appears that even before

that the petitioners representation was decided and this fact was not communicated. This is said to be communicated to the petitioner vide memo dated 22-07-2017 by Police Headquarter.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the petitioners has not received the said communication. 3.

A copy of communication dated 22-07-2017 along with minutes of meeting containing decision of petitioners claim may be given to the learned counsel for the petitioner and it will be open for the petitioners to challenge the legality and validity of the said decision in a separate petition.
