Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that respondent No.8 has encroached on govt. land which has been reported in newspapers and despite representation the concerned authorities of the State govt. are not taking any action to remove the encroachment. 3.

Considering the pleadings and the documents annexed, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the Collector, Raipur shall conduct an enquiry through the concerned S.D.O. (Revenue) wherein respondent No.8 shall be given opportunity of hearing and thereafter, if it is found that respondent No.8 has encroached over the govt. land, the said encroachment shall be removed by the Collector, Raipur. 4.

Let the enquiry be completed within a period of three months from today and thereafter, if encroachment is found, the same shall be removed within next three months.
