The applicant has been arrested in connection with Crime No. 16/2017 registered at Police Station - Tendukona, District Mahasamund (CG) for alleged commission of offences under Section 420 of IPC and Section 66(C) and 66(D) of IT Act.

Case of the prosecution is that the applicant, representing himself as an officer of the SBI, called the complainant on mobile and collected various details of his Account.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated. He has not made any call to the complainant. He further submits that a compromise application has been filed by the applicant and the complainant. The applicant is in jail since 12/08/2017. Therefore, he may be granted bail.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State opposes bail application and submits that the applicant has collected various details of the Account of the complainant falsely representing himself as an officer of the SBI. Therefore, the application may be rejected. 5.
Taking into consideration the detention report and that the applicant is not likely to abscond or tamper with the prosecution witnesses, I am inclined to grant bail to the applicant.

Accordingly, the application is allowed. It is directed that the applicant shall be released on bail furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 20,000/- along with one local surety of Rs. 10000/- to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. He shall appear before the Trial Court regularly on each and every date, unless exempted from appearance. Certified copy as per rules.
