Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition, at this stage, may be disposed off with the direction to the respondents to decide the issue of confirmation of the petitioner. It is submitted that though the petitioner was appointed way back in the year 2013 against the vacant post and her probation period has not been extended after initial one year of probation, the issue of confirmation has not been decided.

Learned State counsel would submit that the petitioner's case regarding claim of confirmation shall be considered and decided by the competent authority as early as possible.

Considering the submission, without commenting upon the merits of the case, at this stage, I am inclined to dispose off the petition with the direction to respondent No.2 to decide petitioner's claim for confirmation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
