(2) The petitioner, who is working as Patwari, has been suspended by the concerned SDO (Revenue) in exercise of powers under Rule 9 of the C.G. Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966 (in short " the Rules, 1966) .

(3) Rule 23 of the Rules, 1966 provides for an appeal against the impugned order, therefore, in view of availability of statutory remedy, this writ petition is not maintainable.
