ORDER

02/11/2020 Heard.

Only limited prayer of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed on compassionate ground to the post of Constable (GD) vide order dated 20/05/2020. The petitioner thereafter have made a representation dated 25/06/2020 and have prayed that she may be considered for appointment to the post of A.S.I. (M) which carries the same pay scale as that of Constable (GD). Prayer has been made on the ground that the petitioner has a young daughter who is studying in 9th standard

and she is solely dependent on the petitioner, therefore respondents No.2 and 4 may consider the representation of the petitioner in terms of the prayer made. 2.

Learned State counsel do not dispute the fact that representation has been filed.

Considering the limited prayer and the fact that petitioner has already been appointed on compassionate ground, only prayer has been made that the petitioner may be considered to be posted as A.S.I. (M). Therefore taking in to such fact, it appears that representation has already been made to the Director General of Police by Annexure P-9 through respondent No.4, Commandant. In view of this, it is directed that representation of the petitioner may be decided within a further period of four months from the date of receipt of this order. The petitioner shall also be at liberty to file fresh representation making necessary prayer. 4.
