(2) The petitioner is working as Sub Engineer in the Department of Public Engineering. He is challenging the orders dated 02.09.2015 and 03.09.2015, whereby, the Superintendent Engineer, Public Heath Engineering Division, Ambikapur, has posted the petitioner from

Surajpur to Baikunthpur and respondent No.5 has been posted at his place at Surajpur.

(3) Learned counsel for the petitioner would argue that respondent No.5 is brought in to Surajpur to facilitate his ofÏciating appointment as Assistant Engineer, whereas, the petitioner is senior to respondent No.5. (4) It is argued that presently, the petitioner is not ofÏciating as Assistant Engineer.

(5) If that be so, the petitioner cannot complain that respondent No.5 is brought in to Surajpur for his ofÏciating appointment as Assistant Engineer. The impugned order is merely a posting order in the nature of distribution/redistribution of work amongst different Sub Engineers posted within the jurisdiction of Superintendent Engineer. Therefore, this is an administrative exercise, which does not call for any interference by this Court in exercise of powers under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
