1. This contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court on 14.12.2017 directing the respondents to examine in coordination, the petitioner's claim for regularization. However, when no order was passed despite lapse of eight weeks and in the meantime under a general direction issued by the Chief Executive Officer, State Urban Development Authority on 26.3.2018, services of the petitioner were not continued, contempt petition was filed.

2. Belatedly, the petitioner's claim was considered and he has not been found fit

-2for regularization.

3. It appears that while issuing general direction on 26.3.2018 by the Chief Executive Officer, the order of this Court was not brought to his notice.

4. Considering that belatedly, but now, the petitioner's representation has been decided, leaving it open for the petitioner to challenge the order of rejection of his representation, the contempt petition is closed and rule is discharged.
