1. The present MCC has been filed seeking for extension of time for compliance of the direction given by this Court on 20.02.2020 in WPC No. 700 of 2020.

2. The direction of this Court was to consider the representation of the petitioner within a period of forty five days; so far as her grievance inrespect-of stoppage of the Widow Pension is concerned. The counsel for the applicant, submits that because of the on-going pandemic, the respondent authorities could not take a decision within the stipulated period and have prayed for additional forty five days' time within which they shall positively take a decision.

3. The reasons assigned appears to be justified and thus this Court is of the opinion that a strong case for allowing the MCC has been made out.

4. Accordingly, the MCC stands allowed. The period for compliance of the Order dated 20.02.2020 passed in WPC No. 700 of 2020 stands extended for a further period of forty five days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. It is expected that the applicant shall duly comply with the order within the extended period of time.

5. The present MCC, accordingly stands allowed and disposed off. Let a copy of this Order be made a part of record of WPC No. 700 of 2020. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Rahul
