1. The limited prayer of the Petitioner is seeking for a direction to the Respondent authority to consider the case of Petitioner for grant of appointment as part time Sweeper.

2. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he does not want to contest the case on merits and prays that he may be permitted to file representation before the Respondent authority who in turn may

decide the representation on its merits.

3. Not opposed by the State Counsel

4. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner further submits that similar Writ Petition has already been disposed off on similar terms by this Court in WPS No. 6335 of 2016 vide the order dated 22.11.2016.

5. Accordingly, the present Writ Petition is disposed off with the similar terms as per the order dated 22.11.2016 passed in WPS No. 6335 of 2016, with a direction to the Petitioner to file his representation before the Respondent Authority within a period of 15 days from today.

6. It is directed that upon such representation being made, the Respondent authority shall take a decision on the said representation promptly purely in accordance with the policies applicable in the Respondent establishment within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

7. With the aforesaid observation the present Writ Petition stands disposed off.
