By this petition, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondent authorities to grant regular pay scale from the initial date

of appointment.

At the very outset, Mr. Wankhede, learned Government Advocate appearing for the State/respondents, submits that the State Government, by order dated 13.07.2012, has constituted a committee comprising of Director, Public Instructions, Chattisgarh, Raipur, as Chairman, Deputy Director, Legal Cell, Directorate, Public Instructions, Raipur, as Member and the District Education Officer, as Member to look into the grievances of the employees with regard to grant of regular pay scale from their initial date of appointment. Thus, this matter may be referred to the said committee. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners also submits for the same.

This Court has passed similar order in W.P. (S). No.5409/2012. 6.

Accordingly, the matter is referred to the aforesaid committee for taking appropriate decision, in accordance with law. The needful may be done within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
