(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's grievance is that though she has filed statutory representations for promotion on the next higher post of Teacher (Panchayat) as per Rule 18(1)(b) of the Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1999 (for short "the Rules of 1999") before respondent No.3 i.e. Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Korba, but the same has not been considered and decided by the said authority till this date.

(3) Be that as it may, respondent No.3 i.e. Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat, Korba is directed to consider and take a decision on the pending representations of the petitioner in accordance with Rule 18(1)(b) of the Rules of 1999 preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. (4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
