1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the husband of the petitioner No. 1 died on 21.12.1992. It is also submitted that the land of the petitioners was also acquired by the respondent authorities, therefore they are entitled for the appointment on the two grounds i.e. compassionate appointment and the rehabilitation policy. She submits that several representations has been made to the respondents authorities, however that remain undecided. Lastly a legal notice was served to the respondents on 04.07.2019 claiming their right to be appointed under the compassionate appointment and the

rehabilitation policy of 2007, however the same has not been done. She further submits that at this stage the petitioners may be given the liberty to make a fresh representation to the respondents' authority along with the necessary documents which may be decided in accordance with the existing policy of the S.E.C.L.

2. Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners are given the liberty to make a fresh representation within a period of three weeks to the SECL and if such representation is filed, then the same shall be decided within a period of four months from the date of filing of such representation. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation on the merit.

3. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
