1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent No. 2 to take a decision on the application of the petitioner for grant of compensation in a hit-and-run case in which the husband of the petitioner had died in a road accident on 19.04.2016.

2. Shri V.R. Tiwari, Addl. A.G. present during the course of hearing is directed to instruct the respondent No. 2 to consider/decide the application at the earliest taking into consideration the entire factual matrix of the case in accordance with law. Let a decision be taken by the respondent No. 2 in this regard within an outer limit of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
