A request letter has been received from the Court of Sessions Judge, Bemetara for extension of time to dispose of Special Session Trial No. 10/2020 pending before that Court. This Court, while disposing MCRC No. 8018/2020 on 04/01/2021, had directed the trial Court to expedite the trial and decide the case within 6 months, but the case could not be disposed of because of pandemic circumstances. 3.

Considering the reasons mentioned in the request letter for delay in deciding the case, I feel inclined to grant extension of time as prayed for. A further extension of 2 months is granted to the trial Court to dispose of Special Session Trial No. 10/2020. 4.

Accordingly, the CRMP stands disposed of.
