Heard on I.A. No. 01/2020 an application for condonation of delay in filing the appeal as well as for grant of leave to appeal. 2.

Taking into consideration the period of delay and the explanation offered as also taking into consideration that the impugned judgment is against the acquittal from charges of commission of dowry death and that in the matter of appeal against co-accused of the same incident, leave has been granted to the State, we are inclined to grant leave to appeal in the present case also. The delay is condoned and leave is granted. The application for grant of leave to appeal is accordingly allowed. 3.

The appeal filed by the State be registered as an acquittal appeal and be listed for further orders.
