Order on Board Per Deepak Gupta, Chief Justice 19/01/2017 1.
We are not inclined to entertain this 'Public Interest Litigation' because of the reason that the work order was issued in favour of Respondent No.5 for construction of Community Hall on 15.5.2015 and the writ petition is filed more than one year and seven months later i.e. on 12.1.2017. If the Petitioner was actually acting in the public interest, he should come as soon as the work order was issued and the work was started. The Petitioner has approached the Court when the work is completed till the plinth level. Therefore, we find no merit in the petition. It is dismissed accordingly.
