(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner is pending consideration since 14.12.2016 before respondent No.2 i.e. Director General of Police, Raipur and therefore, direction may be issued to the said authority to decide the same expeditiously.
(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.
(4) Be that as it may, respondent No.2 i.e. Director General of Police, Raipur is directed to consider and take a decision on the pending appeal of the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
(5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
