1. Heard.

2. This petition has been preferred seeking direction to the Collector, Janjgir-Champa, to declare the result of the selection process for filling up back log vacancies, for which, the advertisement was issued on 27.11.2015 and the entire selection process has been completed long back.

3. Learned counsel for the State would submit, on instructions and on the basis of the afÏdavit of the OIC, that the ofÏce of the Collector, Tribal Development, Janjgir-Champa, has issued a communication of the Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development, Janjgir-Champa, addressed to the Commissioner, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Development, Raipur for cancellation of the advertisement, which was issued by mistake.

4. It appears, the letter- Annexure R/1 was sent to the Commissioner, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Development, Raipur, on 10.8.2016 i.e. more than 08 months back and yet, there is no response from the said ofÏcer.

5. Let the Commissioner, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Development, Raipur decide as to whether approval for cancellation of the advertisement is required to be issued or not. The Commissioner shall pass necessary orders within a period of 02 months from today. If the Commissioner decides that the recruitment shall go on, the Collector (Tribal Development), Janjgir-Champa shall declare the result within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt of communication from the Commissioner, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Department, Raipur.
