(2) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is going to retire on 31.01.2017 from the post of Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat Sonhat, Korea and departmental enquiry initiated against him is pending consideration since 24.04.2009 before the respondent authorities and therefore, appropriate direction may be issued to the respondent authorities to decide the same expeditiously.

(3) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

(4) In view of above, respondent authorities are directed to conclude the departmental enquiry of the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

(5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
