Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that petitioners are the encroachers on the subject land and the order of eviction has been passed by the respondent No. 4 on 20.12.2017 therefore, they may be allowed a period of one month to vacate the premises and the Collector, District Koriya be further directed to rehabilitate them at an alternate place.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Be that as it may, petitioners are at liberty to make representation for redressal of their grievance before the Collector, District Koriya who shall consider and decide the petitioners' request in light of the decision rendered by this Court in Jitendra Kumar Tiwari v. State of Chhattisgarh in Writ Appeal No. 478 of 2014, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
