1. Heard.

2. This is the second application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.428/2020 registered at Police Station Arjuni, District Dhamtari (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 20-B of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

3. The applicant was found in illicit possession of 14 kg 600 gm of contraband Ganja during search on 24.10.2020.

4. The first bail application was dismissed vide order dated 18.03.2021 passed in MCRC No.249 of 2021 with liberty to revive after 3 months.

5. Considering that the applicant is in jail since last about 9 months and the quantity of contraband recovered from him, I am inclined to release the applicant on regular bail.

6. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs. One Lakh with two local sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
