1. Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been denied benefit of promotion to the post of Platoon Commander. Further grievance of the is that the petitioner has already been deprived of many of the allowances and benefits which the petitioner is otherwise legally entitled for as per rules.

2. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has already made a detailed representation in this regard to the respondent No. 2 and which is still pending consideration before the authorities since long.

3. Counsel for the petitioner makes a limited prayer as of now that the writ petition may be disposed off directing the respondent No. 2 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner keeping in view the amendments that has been brought to the Chhattisgarh Armed Executive Force(C.A.F.), Constable (General Duty), Assistant Platoon Commander and Head Constable (Nursing) Trade Constable(Trained/Untrained) Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008 . Keeping in view the rules of 2008 authority would also consider the grounds that the petitioner has raised in this writ petition and in the representation that he has made.

4. The limited prayer is not opposed by the State Counsel.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off directing the respondent No. 2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner in accordance with the rules of 2008 as amended in the year 2010 and also the contents that have been raised in the representation.

6. It is expected that respondent No. 2 shall consider and decide the representation of the petitioner within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise respondent No. 2 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
