Counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present writ petition with liberty to approach the Appellate Authority where his departmental appeal is pending. The counsel for the petitioner further requested that the Appellate Authority may be directed to decide the appeal at the earliest.

The counsel for the respondents has not opposed the said prayer. Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty. The Appellate Authority in the Department is directed to consider and decide the departmental appeal in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
