Versus
1.
State Of Chhattisgarh Through The Secretary, Department Of Revenue And Disaster Management, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Atal Nagar, District Raipur, Chhattisgarh. 2.
The Commissioner Bastar Division, Jagdalpur, Bastar, Chhattisgarh. 3.
Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) Dantewada, District Dantewada, Chhattisgarh.
----Respondents For Petitioner :
Mr. Abhyuday Singh, Advocate For State :
Ms. Sunita Jain, G.A.
Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 05/07/2021
1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order dated 15.06.2021 passed by the respondent No.2, whereby the representation/appeal, which the petitioner has preferred against a change of posting, has been rejected.
2. Considering the fact that the issue involved in the present writ petition is only in respect of change of posting of the petitioner, who happens to be a Patwari and who has been shifted from Patwari Halka No.5 and the distance between the petitioner's present place of posting and the Tehsil headquarter is just about 10 KMs and also considering the fact that the higher authorities in the Department have already on the administrative side scrutinized the appeal/
representation of the petitioner, there is hardly any scope for this Court under Article 226 in exercise of its power of judicial review to look into.
3. The writ petition accordingly sans merits and deserves to be and is accordingly rejected. However, the petitioner would still have the liberty of approaching the authorities for ventilating his grievance.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
