The limited relief that Petitioner seeks is for an appropriate direction to Respondent No.2 for deciding the Departmental Appeal that he has preferred against the Order of dismissal from service, dated 5.9.2020. 2.

According to Petitioner, the Departmental Appeal was preferred by him as early as on 3.11.2020 but till date the same has not been decided by the Authorities concerned.

Given the limited relief that Petitioner seeks, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the Respondent No.2 to consider and decide the Departmental Appeal that Petitioner has preferred, in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

It shall be the responsibility of Petitioner to apprise the Respondent No.2 in respect of the Order passed by this Court today. 5.
