Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 19/06/2019
1. The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to consider the claim of the petitioner for employment as a land oustee.
2. On a query being put to the counsel for the petitioner, he fairly submits that land was acquired way back in the year 1981 that is almost 38 years back. The petitioner himself is as on date 36 years old that means at the time when the land was acquired, the petitioner was not even born.
3. From the perusal of records, it does not reveal that the father of the petitioner at any point of time had raised his claim for the same.
4. This Court therefore finds it difficult to entertain the present writ petition after a lapse of 38 years from the date of land being acquired by the respondents.
5. The writ petition therefore being devoid of merits deserves to be and is accordingly rejected on the ground of delay laches itself. Sd/-/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Jyotijha
